Video released of Fayetteville police tackling Heisman Trophy QB candidate Baker Mayfield

Talk about a form tackle!

Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Baker Mayfield was arrested by the Fayetteville Police Department for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, fleeing and resisting arrest on Friday February 24.

And now, the video has been released, as you can see above. AJ McCord, 40/29 sports anchor and reporter, tweeted out the video.

The Sooners’ QB threw for 3,965 yards and 40 touchdowns last year as the team’s starting quarterback.

Oklahoma opens the 2017 season against UTEP. In Week 2, Oklahoma travels to Ohio State in a marquee matchup.
