As SEC Fans, our curiosity is peaked each summer as we wonder just how much more dominant the SEC is over the other conferences. Of course, I say this slightly joking, but only slightly.
In a year where all of the rules have changed, where the game is harder, and where every game now is a playoff, we are seeing more passion for each game. Not less. More than that though, our teams are showing the world, once again, how much more we want it than they do. How much this matters to our players, coaches, and fans.
Everyday is a playoff in the SEC. Every game feels like an elimination game. And for a year at least, no one knows how things will turn out at the end. What we do know as SEC fans is that we will have someone there at the end.
And for that reason, we say Bring the Playoff.
Bring the Playoff started as season kickoff campaign for SEC Media Days. It was our rally cry internally in our conversations as we asked everyone we met if we would have two teams in the playoff. We might have gotten a bit carried away… We printed tshirts and coffee mugs. Lots of them.
So now that we are face to face with this playoff, we wanted to share some of that fun with you. All the goods in this collection are blue and white (SEC blue, not KY blue…) to show our unity as fans. Of course we each want our team in the big game, but if not ours, at least a fellow SEC team.
These shirts are printed on an athletic fit, soft, preshrunk tshirt. It is a really nice shirt. If you want to show your love of the Playoff, grab your shirt or coffee mug at the store.saturdaydownsouth.com.
