It’ll be an undefeated showdown on Saturday when No. 1 Tennessee heads to No. 3 Georgia. The College Football Playoff rankings are certain to be impacted by the result of the massive contest.

CBS is hosting the matchup and its studio crew made predictions. Brian Jones was the lone analyst to side with Tennessee. Aaron Taylor, Randy Cross, and Rick Neuheisel all expect Georgia to earn the victory.

“I believe it’s because of that quarterback and he’s so fleet of foot. He’s going to be able to extend plays, buy some time,” Jones said.

Georgia is coming off a 42-20 victory vs. rival Florida. Georgia racked up 555 total yards to compensate for its 3 turnovers.

Tennessee throttled victory Kentucky 44-6 in its last contest. Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker completed 19 of his 25 throws for 245 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions to solidify his status as the favorite for the Heisman Trophy.

Georgia has the all-time edge 26-23-2 against Tennessee. The Bulldogs have claimed the last 5 games in the series. The last time Tennessee defeated Georgia was a 34-31 victory on Oct. 1, 2016. Tennessee-Georgia will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET.
