CBS Sports’ way-too-early 2021 rankings include 6 SEC teams in the top 25

The 2020 season just came to a close, with Alabama beating Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game to claim its sixth title under Nick Saban.
Now, we turn our focus to the 2021 season, and many analysts are putting together their way-too-early 2021 rankings.
CBS Sports analyst Dennis Dodd ranked his top 25 teams and, as you can see below, 6 SEC teams made the cut, led by Georgia at No. 3:
- No. 3 — Georgia
- No. 4 — Alabama
- No. 8 — LSU
- No. 10 — Texas A&M
- No. 12 — Florida
- No. 24 — Mizzou
Clemson and Oklahoma take the top 2 spots in his rankings. We’ll see what happens in the SEC in 2021, but it seems the conference is going to be loaded once again.
