Chicago radio station takes action against host following sexist tweet about Maria Taylor

It didn’t take long for a Chicago radio host to lose his job following a sexist tweet about ESPN sideline reporter Maria Taylor during coverage of Monday Night Football.
There are multiple reports out that Dan McNeil has been let go as an employee of The Score, and the first one came from Julie DeCaro, with a statement from Entercom Chicago.
During the broadcast, McNeil shared his opinion of Taylor’s outfit by posting the following tweet. McNeil has deleted the tweet but Awful Announcing took a screenshot of it. Taylor also responded to McNeil, and referred to him and his comments as having “misogyny” and being “sexist” and added, “Hey ladies remember you can wear whatever you feel confident in!”
McNeil late Monday responded to someone on Twitter who referred to him as being “misogynistic,” with, “That’s a big word for you.”
Just old Dan McNeil has been fired.
