College football rankings: ESPN updates FPI top 25 following Week 6

College football rankings are being updated after a busy Week 6 across the country.
We saw some dominant efforts from top teams like Georgia and Ohio State, while others, like Alabama, struggled to get going against unranked opponents.
Following the Week 6 action, ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) top 25 rankings were updated. Here’s a look at how the top 25 shakes out:

- Clemson
- Tennessee
- Ole Miss
- Utah
- USC
- LSU
- Penn State
- Mississippi State
- Oregon
- Notre Dame
- Baylor
- Oklahoma State
- TCU
- Minnesota
- Maryland
- UCF
- Purdue
- Texas A&M
- Wake Forest
- Kansas State
That makes 7 SEC teams in the top 25. We’ll see if even more can join the party after Week 7, which features a couple of big-time matchups.
