College football rankings: ESPN’s FPI updates top 25 teams after Week 2

There were some notable results from around college football in Week 2. Arkansas trounced Texas. Alabama and Georgia continued to roll. Oklahoma got back on track against a lesser foe.
And, in the biggest game of the week, Ohio State fell at home to Oregon.
On Sunday, after the games were final, ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) was updated, and a new top 25 was formed.
A total of 7 SEC squads made appearances in the top 25, led by Alabama and Georgia at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Florida was No. 6, Texas A&M No. 9, Auburn No. 10, Ole Miss No. 14 and Arkansas No. 18.
