Second College Football Playoff rankings for the 2020 season revealed

The second College Football Playoff rankings of the 2020 season have just been released during a Tuesday evening reveal show on ESPN.

Alabama remains firmly atop the updated poll after winning the Iron Bowl 42-13 last weekend.

The SEC’s other Playoff contenders all remain entrenched at the top of the rankings as Texas A&M beat LSU 20-7, Florida beat Kentucky 34-10 and Georgia beat South Carolina 45-16.

In total, the SEC has four teams ranked in the debut College Football Playoff ranking.

This season’s Playoff Semifinals are set to take place Friday, January 1, 2021, at the Rose Bowl Game and the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

The College Football Playoff National Championship is set to be played Monday, January 11, 2021, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
