Hartung has been a big staple on ESPN’s coverage of college football as a sideline reporter, and she’s also covered college basketball. She first worked for the Longhorn Network, and then joined the SEC Network, where she was known for her spot on SEC Live.
Prior to joining ESPN, she spent five years in CBS News’ Washington Bureau.
The Big Lead reported earlier this year Hartung’s new role at CNN will be based out of Atlanta as a national correspondent.
