College GameDay was in Clemson on Saturday for the No. 5 Tigers’ game against No. 10 NC State. While the ACC showdown was featured, the crew also picked a few SEC games.

It was a very different picks segment Saturday. Lee Corso woke up not feeling well and missed the show. At the start of the show, Rece Davis shared that Corso saw a doctor and joked that he was under the weather because he had called Clemson overrated.

Clemson great Christian Wilkins joined Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit at the desk to pick Week 5’s biggest games. Here’s how they picked 3 SEC games:

No. 7 Kentucky at No. 14 Ole Miss

  • Howard: Ole Miss
  • Wilkins: Ole Miss
  • McAfee: Kentucky
  • Herbstreit: Kentucky

No. 2 Alabama at No. 20 Arkansas

  • Howard: Alabama
  • Wilkins: Alabama
  • McAfee: Alabama
  • Herbstreit: Alabama

LSU at Auburn

  • Howard: LSU
  • Wilkins: Auburn
  • McAfee: LSU
  • Herbstreit: LSU

In Corso’s absence, there was no headgear pick for the Clemson-NC State game.
