College GameDay is headed to South Bend for the Saturday night showdown between visiting No. 6 Ohio State and No. 9 Notre Dame.

The Week 4 edition of the show will feature guest appearances from Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown, as well as Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze.

The 57-year-old Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver won the Heisman Trophy in 1987 with the Fighting Irish.

The top-10 clash of blue bloods will provide the winner with a major resume boost for the College Football Playoff. These are 2 of the most storied programs in college football history.

Ohio State has the sport’s highest all-time winning percentage (.733) while also being No. 2  in wins (956). Notre Dame meanwhile is fourth all time in wins (942) and winning percentage (.730).

Notre Dame hasn’t had the luck of the Irish against Ohio State in quite some time. Ohio State has defeated Notre Dame in 6 consecutive matchups. The last Notre Dame victory in the series dates back to 1936. Ohio State at Notre Dame is slated for 7:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on NBC.

Meanwhile in his first season with the program, Freeze has Auburn off to a 3-0 start as they travel to take on Texas A&M.

Auburn revealed a unique uniform combination as they strive for a 4-0 record for the first time since 2019.
