College GameDay was once again missing Lee Corso Saturday morning in Austin, Texas.

The show opened with the 4-man desk of Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit. Corso was once again notably missing.

The legendary analyst has dealt with health issues over the last several years; however, he’s missed several shows this year while recuperating from an illness. Corso has missed 5 total shows in 2022, and Saturday was the latest.

To open the show, Davis updated Corso’s health status.

“Lee Corso still recuperating. We hope that he’s continuing to recover and hope that he’ll be back with us really soon,” Davis said.

Texas alum Jordan Spieth will be Saturday’s guest picker in Austin.

College football fans sincerely hope Corso gets well and is able to return to the show before the season is over.
