Arguably the most anticipated SEC game of the year is also an interesting study in line movement in the minds of oddsmakers.
The latest came from Dave Mason of Bet Online, who listed the Nov. 3 showdown between Alabama and LSU in Tiger Stadium, expected to be featuring two top five teams, as a two-touchdown spread.
This game has hovered around that two-touchdown area in recent weeks, dipping and rising with key results, such as LSU’s win over Georgia that followed the Tigers falling at Florida.
The Devin White first-half suspension for LSU could play a factor in some bettors’ minds, but non-quarterback injuries typically don’t make a noticeable difference on the point spread.
