Four-star RB Master Teague out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is a highly sought after recruit in 2018, and his SEC-heavy list just got shorter. On Sunday, Teague announced via Twitter that he’s down to 12 schools, eight of which hail from the SEC.

Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt all made the cut.

Teague, the 18th-ranked RB and the 324th prospect overall, has seen interest from across the country but his top choices indicate that he plans on staying in the South.

An elusive, smooth-striding runner, the 5-foot-10.5, 210-pound Teague possesses the size and speed to play at the SEC level.

While the eyes of most college sports fans are focused on March Madness, SEC coaches are working tirelessly to get lead recruits for the future.
