The logo was unveiled at Disney’s annual advertising upfront on Tuesday.
Multiple SEC games airing on ABC as part of loaded Week 1
The “SEC on ABC” branding will be debut with 4 notable Labor Day weekend games, including a Saturday triple-header.
It all starts with Georgia and Clemson. The perrenial powers are facing off in Atlanta. UGA is currently on a 2-game winning streak in the series, defeating Clemson 45-21 in Athens (2014) and 10-3 in Charlotte (2021).
Florida and Miami are renewing their rivalry in 2024. The Gators and Hurricanes are facing off in The Swamp as part of a home-and-home that includes a trip to Miami Gardens in 2025. UF and UM last met in Orlando during the 2019 season, a game that went to the Gators 24-20.
Notre Dame at Texas A&M completes the Saturday ABC triple-header. College Station is also hosting ESPN’s “College GameDay” for the highly anticipated debut of Mike Elko.
ABC will also be airing the USC-LSU game, a B1G-SEC clash, from Las Vegas on Sunday, Sept. 1. It will air in prime time.

ESPN/ABC deal brings changes to SEC viewing experience
A big deal was made last season of the “SEC on CBS” partnership ending. The 2024-25 athletic year, which begins in July, marks the beginning of ESPN/ABC being the primary media rights holder of all things SEC.
Here’s a refresher on some of the highlights of the new deal:
- ABC to air SEC-controlled game weekly.
- SEC games to air on ABC’s Saturday Night Football for the first time.
- Increased scheduling flexibility as SEC football games will air on either ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or the SEC Network. No more conflicts with CBS having game of the week at 3:30 p.m.
- SEC Championship Game to air on ABC.
