ESPN’s College GameDay has ventured from coast to coast across the country, visiting many programs and neutral-site venues over the years. However, the popular pre-game show will make a trip where it has never been before to start the 2024 season.
ESPN confirmed Wednesday morning that College GameDay will travel overseas for the first international broadcast in the show’s history. That broadcast will occur on site in Dublin, Ireland for a Week 0 contest between Florida State and Georgia Tech.
College GameDay’s set will be located at Dublin’s College Green near Trinity College and will be live from 9 am to 12 pm ET on Aug. 24 leading up to the game.

College GameDay has traveled far and wide since the first-ever broadcast in 1993. The first-ever international broadcast will certainly be a sight to see, especially with Dublin’s increasing involvement in college football as a usual host for Week 0 showdowns.
After traveling overseas for Week 0, College GameDay will return to the States and visit College Station for a Week 1 showdown between Texas A&M and Notre Dame.
Florida State’s appearance in Week 0 will mark the 36th for the Seminoles in their history. That will tie Notre Dame and Georgie for 6th all-time in College GameDay’s history.
