Fans troll Peyton and Eli Manning after Arch Manning’s incredible 67-yard TD run

The Manning name has become synonymous with strong quarterback play over the years. But electric running ability?
Well, that’s a more complex story, but one that Arch Manning appears intent on changing during his time at Texas.
The backup QB for the Longhorns, Manning found himself thrust into action in Week 3 to replace the injured Quinn Ewers. Manning wasted little time making an impact with a quick passing touchdown before the stage was set for the QB to use his legs.
He would go on to torch UTSA with a 67-yard rushing touchdown, showing impressive cutting ability and speed in the open field. Needless to say, it’s something fans are not used to seeing from the likes of Peyton and Eli Manning.
Though Archie Manning (Arch’s grandfather and the father of Peyton and Eli) was well regarded for his athleticism, Peyton and Eli were traditional pocket passers who did not use their legs very often. In fact, Arch’s long touchdown is more than double Peyton’s longest rush in his entire NFL career.
It’s also almost double what Peyton used to average on the ground on an annual basis:

Needless to say, social media had all the jokes in store for Peyton and Eli. However, the 2 brothers never ran from the fact they were not very athletic, and the pun is absolutely intended.
