Field for Saturday’s Florida-Georgia game to look different due to 2020 scheduling

The circumstances of the 2020 season have made for a different “Cocktail Party” this year. In addition to no tailgating and limited attendance, the field will have a different look this year at TIAA Bank Field.
Adam Gillespie of 680 The Fan shared a photo of the field on Friday:
Instead of the traditional team name end zones, both just say “Jacksonville” this year. A Florida uniform account notes that the end zones were left alone due to the fact that the Jacksonville Jaguars have a home game on Sunday. The game is typically scheduled for a Jaguars off week, but the date for this year’s meeting was changed when the SEC moved to the 10-game, conference-only schedule.
In addition to the end zones, the SEC logo is on the 25-yard lines instead of midfield this season. Saturday’s showdown between No. 5 Georgia and No. 8 Florida is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS.
The field for Florida-Georgia will feature a new mid-field logo as the SEC logo has been moved to the 25yd line.
Keep in mind the Jags have a game on Sunday (one of the VERY rare times the Jags play right after FL/GA) which is why the field didn’t get its usual makeover. https://t.co/CcmD3uC5e2
