Defending ACC champion Florida State feels like it’s receiving a lack of respect this season.
Coach Jimbo Fisher admits the SEC is ultra competitive and boasts several talented teams, but he’s tired of playing second fiddle to the league nationally.
During his weekly call-in show on Wednesday, Fisher expressed his opinion:
Jimbo Fisher on the SEC: “It is a great league. But they didn’t invent football.”

Fisher is 6-1 against the SEC during his stint at Florida State, including a win over Auburn in the BCS National Championship Game two seasons ago.
Fisher has coached in the SEC previously, spending several years at Auburn as the Tigers’ quarterbacks coach in the mid 1990s before calling offensive plays at LSU from 2000-06.
He isn’t ranked in our Top 5, but Fisher’s quickly moving up the ranks as an SEC villain.
