Lou Holtz will be remembered for leading the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to the 1988 title, but he also coached at Arkansas from 1977 to 1983 and ended his coaching career with South Carolina from 1999 to 2004.
He’s still a popular college football personality and gives lots of speeches, including one in Miami on Wednesday.
However, on Friday morning, Holtz revealed that he got into a car wreck on the way to the speech, and said he’s pretty sore now:
Spoke for Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday in Miami. Was in a car accident on I-95 as I was headed south, but I'm ok. Now I know how players feel when they are sore all over.

Fortunately, since he’s tweeting about it, he seems to be OK.
Hopefully he rests up this weekend and is feeling better by the time Monday rolls around.
