Glen Powell reaction: ‘Top Gun’ actor draws rave reviews for College GameDay appearance

Glen Powell, a star of “Top Gun: Maverick,” was the celebrity guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday.
The popular show was in Austin for the big nonconference showdown between No. 1 Alabama and Texas.
Fans of College GameDay can be ruthless when it comes to guest pickers, especially with a game of this magnitude. They want the celebrity to have some knowledge of college football and also to be entertaining.
Powell checked both those boxes. He managed to do the nearly impossible, drawing overwhelmingly positive reaction on Twitter following his performance:
College Gameday is always phenomenal. But man, having @glenpowell as guest picker went above that. He’s the best, fun to watch leading to Kick. Killed it!
