The latest evidence of the offseason obsession some have with Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa comes from the fact that the rising sophomore currently has the best odds of all SEC players to win the next Heisman Trophy at the Westgate Las Vegas sportsbook — according to college football insider Brett McMurphy. The image of Tagovailoa sailing the national championship-winning throw to DeVonta Smith appears to be burned into the mind of many as the sophomore has yet to even win the starting role in Tuscaloosa this offseason.
His teammate Damien Harris, Georgia duo Jake Fromm and D’Andre Swift and Auburn’s Jarrett Stidham all have Heisman odds listed by Westgate.
