John Calipari made a wager with Charles Barkley over Saturday’s Kentucky-Auburn game

The SEC football season kicks off this weekend and one of the most interesting matchups of Week 1 will take place at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn.
That’s where the Tigers will host a tough Kentucky team. Many think the Wildcats have the talent to pull off the upset.
On the NBA on TNT Tip-Off on Tuesday night, Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari joined the show and made a friendly bet with Auburn legend Charles Barkley. If Auburn wins, Coach Cal has to shave his beard. If Kentucky wins, Barkley has to try to grow a beard:
“I’ve never grown a beard because I think America deserves to see the money maker.”

“Charles, I’ll shave this beard if Auburn wins, if you grow a beard,” Calipari says. “Kentucky’s winning that game.”
