Katy Perry’s last College GameDay’s visit to Oxford, Mississippi, featured an incredible show, highlighted by Perry as the guest picker. That 2014 GameDay show will go down in history as one of the best in history, as Ole Miss went on to upset Alabama in remarkable fashion.

Perry brought out the corndogs and pledged her love for then-Oklahoma QB Trevor Knight on the show. She even ripped off Lee Corso’s mascot head when he picked Alabama.

This year, however, things are different. Perry issued a special video Saturday morning and announced that Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin would be the celebrity guest picker for the show’s visit to Ole Miss for the Texas A&M game.

Has a head coach ever been the guest picker? It was at Perry’s request, according to the GameDay analysts.

Yes, this game lacks the hype that Ole Miss-Alabama did; however, 2 ranked SEC teams who are still in the SEC West race is worthy of some hype.

Rebels QB Matt Corral and head coach Lane Kiffin will take on Aggies Jimbo Fisher and their incredible defense.

The Rebels and Aggies kick off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
