Last Chance U has first NFL player after John Franklin III reportedly signs free agent deal

Though former “Last Chance U” star and ex-Auburn WR/QB John Franklin III didn’t have the college career he anticipated, he does have elite speed and other traits that pertain to the NFL.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Franklin signed a free-agent deal quickly after the 2018 NFL Draft came to an end.
As you can see in the tweet below, JF3 is going to sign with the Seattle Seahawks, where he’ll compete for a roster spot:

The Seahawks need to surround QB Russell Wilson with more playmakers, so taking a flyer on Franklin makes a lot of sense.
He’ll have an uphill battle to actually make Seattle’s Week 1 roster, but for now, he has a chance, and that’s something to hold onto.
