Everyone is patiently waiting until July 21 for the award-winning documentary “Last Chance U” to make its return to Netflix.
Some boasted that season one could have been the best sports documentary of all-time. The documentary chronicles the East Mississippi Community College Lions, and it’s absolutely gripping.
The amazing thing about the show is that while “Last Chance U” is a documentary about JUCO football, viewers don’t need a knowledge or love of football to be captivated by the show.
Scooba, Mississippi, is no longer just the hometown of EMCC; it’s become somewhat of a tourist destination, thanks to the massive Netflix platform.
