Kirby Smart isn’t the first coach to take a chance and see the play come up short. He won’t be the last, either. But for now, people associate Smart with failed fake punt attempts.
In a back-and-forth game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin rolled the dice and called a fake punt. The Steelers came up short.
