The LSU Tigers are trying to keep the Golden Boot in Baton Rouge for at least another season, as the Tigers lead the Razorbacks at halftime 10-3.
LSU’s defense has limited Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson to just 34 passing yards and no rushing yards. The Hogs offense totals just 101 yards at halftime.
LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, who replaced Max Johnson during the third offensive series, did his best Johnny Manziel-like play on a 29-yard touchdown pass to fellow freshman Jack Bech.

That play is the difference in the game thus far. Nussmeier has thrown for 64 yards, connecting on just 4-of-10 passes. Running back Tyrion Davis-Price has rushed for 30 yards. Bech has caught 3 passes for 52 yards, including the 29-yard score.
