Ole Miss vs. South Carolina: Final injury report released for Week 6 game
Ole Miss (4-1, 0-1 SEC) travels to South Carolina (3-1, 1-1) on Saturday for an afternoon affair inside Williams-Brice Stadium. The 12th-ranked Rebels are looking to rebound from their first loss of the season last week to Kentucky. The Gamecocks missed out on a ranked win on Sept. 14 and are looking to take a major step off a bye.
Ahead of kickoff, both teams have released their final availability reports. The Rebels have a lengthy list of inactives while South Carolina has only 2 players listed as out.
Princely Umanmielen will miss the game after picking up an injury in the Kentucky loss. He has 6 tackles for loss and a team-leading 3.5 sacks on the season. Tailback Henry Parrish Jr. is listed as a game-time decision for the Rebels. He leads the team in rushing this season with 489 yards and 8 touchdowns on 70 carries.
For South Carolina, defensive back Kelvin Hunter and offensive lineman Jakai Moore are both unavailable. Quarterback LaNorris Sellers (ankle) is not listed on the injury report and is expected to start for the Gamecocks after missing the team’s Week 4 win over Akron.
Kickoff between the Gamecocks and Rebels is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Ole Miss is listed as a 10-point favorite, via ESPN Bet.
