Omari Abor, a 5-star pass rusher out of Texas, drops SEC heavy top 5

Omari Abor is an elite pass rusher in the Class of 2022, and he’s ranked the No. 2 Edge player in the country, and the No. 6 player out of Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite.
He told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that his top 5 schools are Texas A&M, LSU, Ohio State, Texas and Alabama. He’s a 6-foot-4 and 240 pounder from Duncanville, Texas. He has a reported 27 offers.
Abor told On3 that LSU assistant coach Andre Carter’s NFL background plays a factor in his pitch, and Carter also treams Abor like a son. He also called the Alabama staff “like family to me. I talk to these guys all the time. Their coaching staff is brilliant. This is one of the schools that I wouldn’t mind visiting more than once.”
About Texas A&M, he said, “All I can say is that if they get the people that they should get, and plus on top of that I’m trying to play with my dawgs.”
