The debut was part of two days of SEC Network festivities to help welcome Texas and Oklahoma to the conference.
On Sunday, SEC Network went live from the Forty with “SEC Now: Live from Texas” originating from Bevo Blvd. Laura Rutledge and Peter Burns hosted studio coverage with contributions from network colleagues, including Finebaum, Jordan Rodgers, Roman Harper, Marty Smith and Jimmy Dykes.
On Monday, SEC Network was live in Norman. OU alumnus Dari Nowkah was joined by Alyssa Lang to co-host “SEC Now: Live from Oklahoma.” Finebum, Dusty Dvoracek, Haylie McCleney and Daymeon Fishback made appearances.
The “Finebaum Show” was live from Party at the Palace on Monday. Hicks appeared virtually on Monday’s show to talk about updating “Call Paul,” which has been on the mind of many loyal “Finebaum” viewers since the SEC announced the additions of Oklahoma and Texas in 2021.
