Rece Davis shares his excitement about Pat McAfee returning to GameDay

Pat McAfee is returning to College GameDay in a full-time capacity. That’s something Recent Davis couldn’t be more excited about.
“We’ve been wanting him to be on full-time and it finally worked out with his schedule. He’s just such a unique talent in that he connects with people so well. Easily likable. I remember the first time he woas with us at South Dakota State. After the show, Kirk (Herbstreit) and I were walking out… we looked at each other and said ‘yeah, he needs to be on the show.'”

This comes not long after it was announced that McAfee had entered a multi-year extension with the WWE in July, according to The Athletic.
Anyone who has listened to The Pat McAfee show in the past knows what he brings to the table and the special element his personality can bring to the table for the production. As if there wasn’t enough to be excited about within the college football season, this only adds to it.
