CBS makes interesting decision when replacing Ole Miss-Texas A&M game for Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. ET time slot

Well, this was certainly an unexpected move by CBS.

After losing out on Alabama at LSU last weekend, the “SEC on CBS” once again lost out on an SEC matchup for the upcoming weekend as the Ole Miss at Texas A&M game was postponed by the league on Monday due to the Aggies not having enough scholarship players eligible to play.

Instead of missing out on a game for the Saturday 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT time slot for the second weekend in a row, CBS has picked a new game to be featured in replace of Ole Miss at Texas A&M.

So which game is CBS going with?

If you had a dozen guesses, you probably wouldn’t have picked San Diego State vs. Nevada but that’s the game the network has chosen.

Before you ask, yes, Gary Danielson and Brad Nessler will be calling this one.
