SEC haters take to Twitter to whine about Alabama-Georgia CFP title game
By Adam Spencer
Published:
SEC haters were loving the start to bowl season, when the SEC went 0-4 in its first 4 games and 1-5 in its first 6.
But, after Friday night’s College Football Playoff semifinals, we’re heading toward an all-SEC title game featuring No. 1 Alabama against No. 3 Georgia.
Naturally, that led to plenty of complaining from non-SEC fans on social media. Here is some of the reaction on Twitter to the looming title game matchup:
Really glad Alabama and Georgia will be playing for a national championship. I haven’t seen that game in forever.

1. Alabama
2. GeorgiaCall it a day unless they want some really horrible tv ratings.
No one wants to see it again except their fans.

Michigan and Cincinnati both had chances to ensure we didn’t get an all-SEC title game, but both failed in spectacular fashion.
Both the Wolverines and Bearcats unquestionably deserved to be in the final 4, but Alabama and Georgia proved they’re the top 2 teams in the country.
Now, we’ll see them in an SEC Championship Game rematch on Jan. 10 in Indianapolis. Alabama won the SEC title game 41-24.
