SEC Network announces addition of studio host/anchor Alyssa Lang

There will be a new face joining the SEC Network’s coverage of college football this fall as ESPN has announced the signing of studio host and anchor Alyssa Lang.

Lang is a graduate of South Carolina and has worked as a sports anchor and reporter for First Coast News in Jacksonville the previous two years. She also has experience covering South Carolina, Clemson and the Panthers for WLTX in Columbia.

“The passion that comes with college football is a big reason why I got into sports broadcasting,” Lang said in a statement provided by ESPN. “Joining a team that eats, sleeps, and breathes [college football] is an absolute dream come true. I am so excited to join the SEC Network family, and look forward to an incredible first season.”

Lang will host the new SEC Network program SEC Featured, work on Thinking Out Loud and work in the SEC Network studio as a host for SEC Now this fall.
