While things may not be going well for ESPN in Bristol, the company’s Charlotte-based branch continues to make money for the sports media giant, thanks to the wildly popular SEC Network. In turn, several of the most familiar faces of the network will be sticking around to stay on with the growing channel.

In an official ESPN press release, the company announced the extension of Dari Nowkhah. Nowkhah joins the list of SEC Network employees to have received extensions in the last year, joining colleagues Peter Burns and Laura Rutledge.

ESPN senior coordinating producer Tom McCollum provided the following statement in the release announcing news of Nowkhah’s extension.

“The depth of our talent roster at SEC Network is one of our biggest strengths, and we are fortunate to have Dari, Peter and Laura hosting SEC Now on a nightly basis. Their distinct personalities and collective expertise on all 21 SEC sports makes the show a must for SEC fans.”

Nowkhah has been a member of the SEC Network’s team since the channel’s inception in 2014.
