SEC Shorts took the temperature of teams across the conference with its midseason checkup as each team participated in therapy.

The comedy group described it this way:

“We’re past the halfway point of the 2022 college football season. That means teams have had ample time to accumulate emotional baggage that they need to work through. So the whole conference heads to therapy to try and work through some of those glaring issues.”

Texas A&M looked for Jimbo Fisher buyout money in the couch cushions.

“I don’t think you’re going to find what you’re looking for in those couch cushions, maybe we try looking for the answers in here,” the therapist said, pointing to her heart.

The therapist then complimented Auburn for how its handling the season, and Auburn replied, “Thanks, I’ve been dead inside since Week 3. College football can’t hurt me if I just don’t care.”

About South Carolina, the therapist said, “It’s great that you’re excited, but remember how we talked about managing expectations.”
