The SEC is known for producing elite athletes, from Patrick Peterson to Julio Jones, to Cam Newton. As this year’s crop of talent look to add their names to the list, here are the fastest among them at the 40-yard dash.

  • Josh Malone, WR, Tennessee: 4.40
  • Marlon Humphrey, DB, Alabama: 4.41
  • Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss: 4.42
  • Isaiah McKenzie, WR, Georgia: 4.42
  • Quincy Adeboyejo, WR, Ole Miss: 4.42
  • Tre’Davious White, DB, LSU: 4.47
  • ArDarius Stwart, WR, Alabama: 4.49
  • O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama: 4.51
  • Stanley Williams, RB, Kentucky: 4.51
  • Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU: 4.51
  • Fred Ross, WR, Mississippi State: 4.51
  • Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU: 4.52
  • Josh Reynolds, WR, Texas A&M: 4.52

Josh Malone, who was Joshua Dobbs’ favorite target at Tennessee, amassed 972 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns this season. He certainly has a solid pair of hands to go along with his quick feet.

Marlon Humphrey, who was a state champion track athlete in high school, and comes from parents that both ran track, is built for this kind of event.

Evan Engram, a tight end, certainly improved his draft stock, as he looks to compensate for his 6-3 size with by bringing elite speed at the position.

Isaiah McKenzie has always been a burner, earning him the nickname “The Human Joystick” at Georgia. Speed was never a question for this versatile athlete.

Quincy Adeboyejo was an essential part of an explosive Ole Miss passing offense, anchored by Chad Kelly and Evan Engram. His skinny 6-3 frame has plenty of room to add muscle, and the measurable speed makes him an intriguing prospect.
