BookMaker released some updated College Football Playoff odds on Friday.
The opening odds for the Rose Bowl between No. 2 Oklahoma and No. 3 Georgia had the Bulldogs favored by one point. That has since moved to UGA -2.5.
“We moved Georgia to -2.5 in the last 48 hours, and we’re still seeing Bulldogs money coming in with regularity,” a statement from BookMaker said. “This could end up getting bumped to a field goal by kickoff. The public bettors are fairly split, but we have more than 70 percent of money handle on the favorite.”
No. 4 Alabama moved slightly from a 2-point favorite to a 3-point favorite over No. 1 Clemson in the Sugar Bowl.
“The professional bettors were back and forth in the early goings of this matchup, but as limits were raised we’ve seen more money on Alabama,” the statement said. “That said, much like the last two years, we are anticipating more sharp money on Clemson at some point. Perhaps they’re seeing how high this will go, but we’re hesitant to move off the key number.”
