Underdog Fantasy: Love NFL eliminator pools? Check out this new DFS best ball contest!

Underdog Fantasy is the place to be this NFL season for daily fantasy sports (DFS) players. Underdog has provided dozens of best ball tournaments ahead of Week 1, and there’s another interesting offering available right now!
If you’re a fantasy football fan, you’ve probably played in (or at least heard of) an eliminator pool. Basically, it works like this — you pick a team every week that you think will win. If that team wins, you advance. If it loses, you’re done.
But the catch with eliminator pools is that once you pick a team, you can’t pick it again for the rest of the year. So if you pick the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Detroit Lions in Week 1, you can’t use the Chiefs again for the rest of the season.
Underdog Fantasy has a best ball take on that eliminator format that’s available to users right now. It’s called The Little Eliminator and has a modest entry fee of $6. That’s not bad for a tournament where the first-place finisher takes home $100,000!
Want to get in on the action? Take advantage of our Underdog Fantasy Promo Code for a first-time deposit match of up to $100!
If you deposit the full $100 and get matching funds to bring your bankroll to $200, you can put together a maximum of 20 entries in The Little Eliminator contest and still have money left over for other Underdog contests (should you choose to spend your money that way)!
The total prize pool for The Little Eliminator contest is $500K. If you make it to Week 9 without being eliminated, you start winning real cash prizes!
Here’s a breakdown of how the tournament works:
- Week 1: 12 person groups (top 10 finishers advance)
- Week 2: 10 person groups (top 8 finishers advance)
- Week 3: 10 person groups (top 8 finishers advance)
- Week 4: 10 person groups (top 8 finishers advance)
- Week 5: 10 person groups (top 8 finishers advance)
- Week 6: 8 person groups (top 6 finishers advance)
- Week 7: 8 person groups (top 6 finishers advance)
- Week 8: 8 person groups (top 6 finishers advance) *** Prize money starts here for advancing*
- Week 9: 9 person groups (top 7 finishers advance)
- Week 10: 7 person groups (top 5 finishers advance)
- Week 11: 6 person groups (top 4 finishers advance)
- Week 12: 5 person groups (top 3 finishers advance)
- Week 13: 6 person groups (top 3 finishers advance)
- Week 14: 6 person groups (top 3 finishers advance)
- Week 15: 6 person groups (top 3 finishers advance)
- Week 16: 6 person groups (top 3 finishers advance)
- Week 17: Final 186-person group
If you advance past Week 8, you’re guaranteed to win at least your $6 entry fee back. If you make it to the final 186-person group, you’ll earn at least $100. The top 10 finishers take home at least $1,000, with first place earning an impressive $100K!
The Little Eliminator Draft Strategy
How should you play this contest? Well, you’ll want to consider your draft strategy carefully.
For example, bye weeks for players are more important than ever. If you load up on Ja’Marr Chase, Joe Burrow and some other Cincinnati Bengals players, you could be in trouble. The Bengals’ bye week is in Week 7, meaning you could have your worst week of the year right before you get to the money rounds of the tournament.
Obviously players like Chase and Burrow still have immense value on their own, but you need to be careful with which stacks you choose to target, if any.
