Following another week of exciting Southeastern Conference college basketball action, we thought now would be a good time to share the updated NET rankings looking ahead to the weekend of hoops action.
If you aren’t familiar with the NET rankings, they were designed to be an improved version of the old RPI rankings.
The NET rankings consist of several factors: a team’s winning percentage, average opponent’s winning percentage, average opponent’s opponent’s winning percentage, game results, strength of schedule, game location, scoring margin, net offensive and defensive efficiency, and the quality of wins and losses.
