USA TODAY updates SEC bowl projections heading into Rivalry Week

The 2018-19 bowl matchups will be known soon enough, and that means SEC squads are going to find out where they’re playing this postseason.

There will be 11 SEC squads qualifying for bowls, as the winner of this weekend’s Tennessee-Vanderbilt game will reach six victories.

This week, USA TODAY expert Erick Smith updated his bowl projections, and has Alabama in the College Football Playoff.
