USF ended up winning Saturday’s game against a bad UAB program and embattled head coach Trent Dilfer.

However, things were looking bleak early in the third quarter as the Bulls trailed the Blazers 19-7. Tensions were high on the sideline as USF looked to avoid an embarrassing loss.

That led to a skirmish on the sidelines between USF players, as you can see in the video below:

Obviously, whatever was happening on the USF sidelines, that’s not how you want to handle your business when cameras are rolling and capturing everything.

However, it did seem to work, as the Bulls rallied to score a 35-25 victory, improving to 3-4 on the season while UAB fell to 1-6.

Could this be the end of the Trent Dilfer era in Birmingham? We’ll see what the future holds, but the Blazers’ program is in shambles right now.

USF, meanwhile, has a slim hope of getting back in the mix for a decent bowl game.
