There may not be any matchups between two top 10 FBS teams on Nov. 17, but two of the top FCS teams will be facing off. And that’s why Kennesaw State has made a pitch to ESPN’s College GameDay.
Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State will be playing the first football game to take place at SunTrust Park, the home of MLB’s Atlanta Braves that opened in 2017.
On Tuesday, Kennesaw State posted a video on Twitter of coach Brian Bohannon making his pitch to bring College GameDay to the site of his team’s game on Nov. 17:
Hey @CollegeGameDay, since there isn't a Top-20 FBS matchup on Nov. 17, we've got a PERFECT Top-10 FCS battle for you.
Oh, and you can come to @SunTrustPark, home of the @Braves!#GamedayToSuntrust pic.twitter.com/Ni2264zz1y

Kennesaw State is 7-1 this season, which includes winning all three of its games in Big South play. Its game against Jacksonville State is its final contest of the season.
Will the Owls’ pitch work and bring College GameDay to Atlanta? It would certainly be an interesting decision by the popular college football kickoff show.
Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State kick off at 4 p.m. ET on Nov. 17.
