WATCH: Iowa fans waving to children’s hospital looks even cooler under the lights

One of the coolest new traditions in all of sports comes to us from the Iowa Hawkeyes, where fans wave to the children’s hospital next door between the first and second quarters.
With children gathered on the upper floors of the hospital watching the game, the sight of thousands of fans turning and waving to them is a great one to see.
However, on Saturday night during the Penn State-Iowa game, the tradition took place at night for the first time, and it was even cooler than before:
An unbelievable sight, as it always will be.

Iowa has four more home games this year, but three still don’t have start times scheduled. However, a matchup against Ohio State could provide another nighttime edition of the wave.
Seeing moments like these will never get old, and hopefully it’s a tradition that continues for years to come.
