WATCH: Syracuse WR turns in early nominee for best TD catch of the year

Syracuse managed to win a shootout on Friday night to open their season, beating Western Michigan on the road 55-42.
However, the Orange needed some help via big plays, and WR Jamal Custis was up to the challenge.
As you can see in the video below, Custis makes an amazing one-handed catch on a ball that was thrown well behind him. But, he wasn’t done after making the catch, as he made a move and got into the end zone, too:

Custis finished the game with six catches for an impressive 168 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Orange.
Most teams haven’t started their seasons just yet, but Custis’s catch is definitely an early nominee for touchdown catch of the year.
