Former South Carolina star quarterback Connor Shaw has welcomed the newest addition to his family.
Shaw is now the father of two after his wife, Molly, gave birth to the couple’s second child Friday, this time a baby boy.

Dylan Thompson, Shaw’s old backup, also expressed some kind words for his former teammate and friend:
Congrats to my guy @cmshaw8 & Molly on the birth of their son!!!!!

Connor and Molly had their first child, Mila, in 2014.
Shaw had the best record as a quarterback in Gamecocks history, finishing with a 27-5 record as a starter, including a perfect 17-0 at home.
He went undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft but spent that season with the Cleveland Browns, making one start. This past July Shaw was claimed off waivers by the Chicago Bears, but he was placed on injured reserve for a broken leg sustained in preseason.
