Recent South Carolina graduates will find it more affordable to attend games at Williams-Brice Stadium.

On Wednesday, the school’s athletic department announced that a new football season ticket program has been put in place that will grant all graduates of the university from 2013-16 the ability to buy two tickets at the Young Alumni rate of $200 per ticket, which is a 52 percent savings from the regular pricing for season tickets.

They’ll be able to do so for the four seasons following their graduation.

Here’s what first-year coach Will Muschamp had to say about the reasoning behind implementing this program.

“Williams-Brice Stadium has the best home field advantage in the Southeastern Conference because of our passionate fan base,” Muschamp said. “In my first season as your head coach, I need the loyal support of young alumni to keep that tradition alive.”

The Young Alumni program has 500 seats allotted to those that quality, and they’ll be award on a first-come, first-serve basis. The seats will be in the 500 level of the east upper deck. The university says those who are lucky enough to join the program will be awarded Gamecock Club benefits equal to that of the Roost level membership.
