Pharoh Cooper will be available to play on Sunday Night Football.
The Arizona Cardinals announced Saturday that Cooper has been elevated to the active roster for their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday night.
We have made the following roster moves:
-Placed CB Byron Murphy Jr. on injured reserve
-Signed DL Michael Dogbe to the active roster from the practice squad
-Elevated WR Pharoh Cooper and CB Nate Hairston to the active roster from the practice squad as standard elevations— Arizona Cardinals (@AZCardinals) December 24, 2022
Cooper has been playing professionally since 2016. The former South Carolina All-SEC receiver was a free agent much of the 2022 season until signing to the Cardinals’ practice squad on Nov. 23.
This is Cooper’s third stint with the Cardinals. So far, he has made appearances in 2 Arizona games. He did not record any offensive statistics in those games but did contribute as a kick and punt returner.
Sunday Night Football is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
