To say South Carolina is hot on the recruiting trail would be a massive understatement.

If you haven’t been paying attention to what’s been happening in Columbia in recent days, Shane Beamer’s program has picked up 10 commitments over a 10-day span (not all of the commitments have publicly announced their decisions) and the biggest one of the bunch was just announced as four-star offensive lineman Ryan Brubaker publicly announced his decision to be a Gamecock.

“I am incredibly blessed and grateful to have this opportunity, and even more exhilarated to become a part of the Gamecock family,” Brubaker posted on Tuesday.

Brubaker picked South Carolina over scholarship offers from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Stanford and Penn State. Considering Brubaker hails from Cocalico High School in Denver, Pa., his commitment to the Gamecocks is all the more impressive for Shane Beamer and company.
